Every fourteen days a language dies. At this rate more than half the world's languages will diaper by the year 2100. But it doesn't have to be that way, Indigenous people around the world are fighting to revitalize their languages.The loss of language threatens the roots of family life an social strutter in most indigenous communities. Fortunately there are unique individuals and organizations across these country who are aiming to beat the odds. Not only are they using innovative strategies to maintain the basic functions of their languages, they are finding entertaining ways to preserve their creative and cognitive spirit as well.
